Day 13: Let Love Be

One of the songs I wrote last year that I love is called “Let Love Be”. I’ll sing it at my upcoming concert. As I’ve been going through my days lately, I’m becoming aware of places where I block love, where I prematurely judge that the love I live so freely in other areas of my life doesn’t have a place here. I noticed that in a meeting with a client yesterday. I forgot my simple practise of touching the pendant I wear around my neck as a reminder that love lives here too. There is a place for love, even in a business meeting or the doctor’s office, or the grocery store, or in conversation with a close friend whose viewpoint is different.

It is my desire to Let Love Be in all moments — to let it move me in ways I’ve never dreamed. Hmmm… as I let the song lyrics roll through my mind, I’m in awe of my gift and the wisdom born to each of us.

This morning the angels spoke to me about Potential.

Put aside the voice of your ego-mind that tells you how to market yourself or your ability, and accept your spirit-mind, which tells you to use your natural creativity without thought for self-gain. I see clearly this morning that potential is simply love untapped. It does not diminish just because we turn our heads away. It awaits, like in the heart of a seed. Let Love Be. And then notice how your ‘potential’ naturally finds its way to the sun.
