Day 17: Wonder beyond Words

To be alive in this beautiful, self-organizing universe — to participate in the dance of life with senses to perceive it, lungs that breathe it, organs that draw nourishment from it — is a wonder beyond words. — Joanna Macy

As I deepen my own sense of purpose and knowing, I am struck with wonder. I can know this for sure, because often as I’m describing things or feeling to others, I’m at a loss for words. Me? At a loss for words? Yes, it’s true. How possibly can a language of limited sounds capture the wonder of the world?
