Day 24: Looking ahead to April
It’s hard to believe that my 28-Day journey is almost done. I love these journeys. They remind me to stay present. The simple act of having to write here each day keeps me noticing what is going on for me and making choices that support my larger intentions for life. After a while, it becomes a way of life.
I’m starting a new journey in April. This one will be called Lighten the Load. Lately a friend suggested to me that as I make each arrangement for my concert, I can become lighter and lighter and lighter. I don’t need to carry the weight of each decision with me. By the time April 18th rolls around, I will have emptied completely. There’s nothing left to do, nothing standing between me and Spirit. I just have to show up and let all flow — from a state of gracious allowing.
I love that idea so much that I’ve decided to base my April journey on that. Want to join me? Whether Lightening the Load relates to letting go of worries, removing clutter from a physical space, taking on fewer commitments, lessening the pressure we put on ourselves or even eating food that is less rich, each day I’ll consciously choice that which feels lighter.
I just felt a spring breeze blow through the windows of my soul. Aaaaahhhhh….
I invite you to join along in April for the uplifting and freeing ride. I’ll be running the journey right on this site, just like I did for March. You can participate with me by sharing your daily en-lightening in the comments starting April 1st.
By the way, is anybody reading this March journey? I can hear my echo out there…
