Love Ritual

As I deepen my spiritual connection, I realize how much symbolism, synchronicity and rituals resonate with me… taking the ordinary and making it sacred. No surprise to me that Barbara Biziou has entered this phase of my life.

I share with you her special ritual for February. While the ritual is for bringing in your perfect love partner, I believe it’s equally beautiful for deepening your self love as well, honouring both the masculine and feminine energies that exist in you.

Bring In Your Perfect Love Partner

Ingredients: four candles, bowl of water, rose petals, a bell.

Quiet your mind by breathing deeply 2 or 3 times. Focus on what a relationship means to you at this point in your life. Set your intention to have a great relationship with the perfect partner.

Light a candle to the Divine Masculine and one to the Divine Feminine.

Hold the bowl of water and offer this prayer: “May this blessed water purify me of all that has occurred to me that needs healing in my past relationships with other men and women. May this water wash away any sorrow, anger, fear, regret and inappropriate attachment that may still linger in my being, and may it restore balance in my life.” Then annoint yourself with the water.

Light a candle for the Divine Father and one for the Divine Mother to signify that to reach union within, you have to be able to open up equally to both the Divine Mother principle and the Divine Father principle, and by taking some of each of their substance, you form the pathway that leads you to oneness within yourself. This is the key to bringing in a balanced, loving partner.

Add the rose petals to the bowl of water, one at a time, as you invoke a wished-for quality: this petal is for a loving heart, this for loyalty, this for an emotionally stable partner. Trust that the spiritual wisdom of the universe will manifest your destiny by presenting you with the best partner. Strike the bell.
